Mindful Clock is a clock intended to increase your concentration during meditation. By default, when you open the program, it shows the date and current time. This application allows you to set the time when bells ring or other sounds to increase your concentration while meditating or doing other activities, by only paying attention to the sound.

The first thing to do is set the frequency of the sounds to be hourly, every 15 minutes, random, or play continuous Westminster chimes. According to the frequency chosen, you will hear different sounds. It also includes a timer that helps you guide your meditation. First, you need to set the sitting time and the time you wish to walk or rest, and finally press the Start button to start the timer. After you do that, three sounds will be played. Then, once the sitting time has passed, it will ring once more for stretching, and then after a minute or two the chimes will indicate that it is time to walk or rest. Finally, when the selected time for that activity passes, two chimes indicate that you can end the meditation.

The user interface is very simple and easy to use, but not really attractive.

All in all, Mindful clock is a useful clock for those who practice meditation, that will surely help them concentrate even more.

I really like Mindful Clock. I use it for meditation, and generally I don't leave it running otherwise.
But, for reasons I can't determine MC starts each time I boot the computer. It has been removed from my Startup folder. Possibly, I selected "Open on Startup" when I was installing.
